AA Pub Guide 2010
Saturday, February 13th, 2010
Once known as the Fox and Hounds, the building probably dates from the 16th century, when it would have been part of a huge hunting park owned by the Fitzalan family, Earls of Arundel. Today, it is popular with walkers enjoying the rolling Sussex countryside and visitors to Goodwood for motor and horse-racing. A menu of typical pub fare includes liver and bacon, steak and ale pie, Goodwood gammon, salmon fishcakes, fish and chips, and home-made puddings.
