We were greeted so warmly and made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We were offered an extensive menu, and also the shown the mouthwatering Specials board. The food was delicious, and the staff so friendly. The chef even came out to see how our meal had been. The pub, being a 17th century buidling is gorgoeus, and we can see from the size of the garden that it must surely get busy on summer days!

We are definitely coming back!

 I just wanted to say what a lovely meal yesterday at the Partridge.  We found you on our way back home from the seaside and it ended a great family day out.  The greeting was very warm and genuine, the setting postcard perfect and the garden and interior are welcoming and smart in equal measures.   The food was fantastic ; we had the steak and ale pie, the fillet steak and the cod and chips , all of them cooked to perfection.  The specials all looked fantastic and the choice of children’s food was great too.    We hope to return very soon.

The food and service was faultless and we all had a very memorable family occasion for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary.  Absolutely 1st class!

Please could you thank your head chef particularly as we didn’t get the opportunity to thank him as I know he’d made a special effort.
