Supporting Project Peru this Christmas
Here at The Partridge we are very proud to support the amazing charity Project Peru. Started by one of our customers, Project Peru is a small charity which offers food, clothes, shelter, education, healthcare, and fun to children living in extreme poverty in the desert shanty towns of Lima.
This December we have several fundraisers taking place to raise money for this great cause, including a raffle to win this handmade Christmas cake. Baked, decorated and donated by supporters of Project Peru, the money raised from ticket sales will directly fund a year of education for one child in Lima, a privilege that we tend to take for granted. Raffle tickets are £1 each and are available behind the bar.
We have also been selling lovely finger puppets in the pub that were made in Peru and all proceeds will be sent straight back to the disadvantaged communities that crafted them.
Finally, this Christmas Jumper Day (14th December) we will be dressing up in our best festive attire and donating all of our tips to Project Peru. So pop down, share in the Christmas spirit and help us raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.
