Join us for pre-theatre dinner
We are lucky to have The Weald & Downland Living Museum located under a mile away from our countryside pub and this summer they have a fantastic season of outdoor events taking place.
Kicking off the summer festivities there will be two evening opera performances during July, including Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro. In August, there will also be outdoor performances of productions including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Old Herbaceous, Three Men in a Boat and Romeo and Juliet, plus family favourites like The Wind in the Willows and Gangsta Granny. In addition to their outdoor theatre programme, the museum will be holding open air screenings of a number of films including Mamma Mia 2 and Mary Poppins Returns, and there will also be regular live music sessions.
Doors open at 6.15pm or 7pm for most of the events, meaning there is plenty of time to join us here at The Partridge and enjoy a delicious pre-theatre meal in our beautiful pub or beer garden. Our summer menu features a selection of seasonal starters and mains, with something to sate every appetite – just don’t forget to leave room for dessert!
